Absolutely, currently all our payments are in NZ dollars so you will need to be aware of the currency conversion for the cost you will be charged. You can send us an email anytime and support is available via phone during NZ business hours. As we branch out overseas we will have local people and currencies available so let us know.
To reduce overheads we prefer everyone pays via credit card, but where this is not possible we have an annual subscription plan. Which you can pay by transferring the funds into our bank account or by cheque (please note this option may slow things down by a couple of days as we have to wait until the funds clear before working on the site for you).
Your monthly fee is made up of two parts:
a) The Content Management System - this is the engine that makes it possible to login and change the pages, upload sermons and calendar events etc. We are constantly improving this engine meaning as we add, improve and change features they are added to your account as part of your monthly payment for no additional cost.
b) Website hosting - this is the server space required to have your website accessable to the internet 24 hours a day. And although there are some cheap hosting solutions out there we have good quality VPS servers that are only used for our clients, which render better performance than standard "shared hosting" plans.
Following payment we will send you a link with some more details that we require from you to get the website set up. Once we have this information we will have your website ready for you to start inputting the rest of your information within 5 business days (often it will be within a day or two depending on our workload).
The complete process is as follows:
a) Choose the package that best fits your church needs
b) If you are selecting ChurchLite or ChurchMax you will be lead to choose a template and colour scheme. For ChurchUnique we will contact you via phone to discuss your needs and how we will produce a unique website just for you.
c) The next step is to enter your details and make payment. Your payment is made up of a single initial payment and a monthly charge. The monthly charge will be automatically billed every month.
d) Following payment we will email you for a few more details (nothing too difficult we promise). Once we have these bits we will put together your personalized website.
e) Once your website is set up you will be able to log in and add the additional information, through our easy to use system. If you have a domain name let us know when you are ready to go and we will help you to get it all up and running.

ChurchLite has a limit of 250mb (which should be plenty of room), ChurchMax allows up to 2GB so you can store up to 200 audio files as well. Additional space is available at $10 per GB per month.
Our system is a hosted solution which means that it is maintained and updated for you, so you only have to concentrate on running your website. To provide the best service and support the system needs to be hosted on our servers.
Your website will be set up at http://yourchurch.churchwebsites.co.nz, if you have a domain name already this can be hooked up to your website. If you do not have a domain name you can register a name yourself or send us an email and we will do it for you. Domain name prices are $45pa for .co.nz or .com.
Our system has not been adapted from another CMS - it has been built from the ground up with the specific intention of making it easy for non-technical users to maintain a website for their church. For this reason we don't believe there is any system more fit for churches. It is unique and we are very proud of it.
We can accommodate most change requests and give you a price accordingly. There are a few things that we cannot change as we need to make sure that your site can be updated automatically without any issues being raised. Contact us with your needs and we will come back to you.
You can take all your files and images as well as exporting information from your database. The only thing you can take with you is our underlying system.
Yes, you can have up to 10 email addresses as long as you have your own domain name for them to run on (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org). It doesn't cost any extra but you will need to ask us to enable it for you. Contact us with the emails you require.
We supply videos and documents for information on how to use the system. We are also available via email and phone during business hours. We are here to help you succeed with your website.
